Network was founded in 1984 by a group of independent
medical products distributors sharing the common goal to offer
to worldwide manufacturing medical devices and hospital equipment
companies a distribution structure able to ensure a world class
products promotion and distribution.
As far as guaranteeing the commitment of all the associates
and thus obtaining a better competitiveness into the marketplace,
Corios Network has chosen the co-operation model as a company
structure: this model is based on the mutuality concept and
basically it is a non profit activity.
Every Corios member works on a specific territory where he has
the responsibility of sales; the whole matter of the relationships
among members, and between the single and the Company is regulated
by the articles of association.
Currently Corios Network gathers 30 distributors: as a group
they spread their sales activity over the whole Italian territory,
due to their historical presence and to the work of their 80
salesmen, guaranteeing a reliable distribution media which offers
performances and competence at any level into the medical field.
Working as a co-operative association Corios Network peculiar
financial mechanism, based on a calibrated annual fee, allows
the complete coverage of the operational expenses without reversing
additional mark up between the product source, i.e. manufacturer,
and Corios dealer.
Each Corios dealer can get the same product at the same price
paid by Corios, while exploiting a sales organization that support
him in defining the best and most appropriate selling and marketing
strategies agreed also with the management of the represented
companies.
Corios Network resources are formed by two Area Manager, six
sales specialists involved in the field activity since next
may 2002, and one free lance consultant, all of them coordinated
by the Company C.E.O.
Their tasks are in training and supporting the distributors
sales force with daily on the job training programs and joint
sales calls, helping them in planning their sales objectives
into public and private hospitals.
The six sales specialists have to make on a daily basis
sales calls both in the biggest public and private Hospitals,
while the two Area Manager together with the consultant have
to train and support the 80 distributor's agents activity in
all public and private Hospitals.
Corios Network mission stands in being the best alternative
for the fastest market penetration and for a stable acquisition
of market shares, without adding direct costs, and with the
force of 30 among the most valuable Companies into the medical
products distribution field.
